Trust me, my comment whore melt-downs are not a pretty thing to behold AT ALL. I went through a period where I could count on a lot of comments in my two major fandoms and that doesn't seem to be the case any more. The J/Iers won't read my stuff because they know my Jack won't put up with Ianto's whiney possessive b.s. and the Housefraus who want fluffy schmoop know better than to click on me either. Also I sense the House fandom is withering a bit.

LoM is an awesome fandom but not as massive as House or TW. As I said in my own essays, this is a good thing. If I'm not guaranteed instant gratification/ego stroking from the fanfic, the tendency to use it for a fix instead of working on the Novel is greatly diminished.
