I have a cold. My head throbs and intermittently I can't breathe through my nose. Apparently I was snoring last night, probably on account of being compelled to be a mouthbreather due to full-up sinuses. I also didn't sleep all that well, so my eyes are sore.

It's making me miserable, and I'm done with miserable. I've given it up for the foreseeable future. I was cheered by watching the STVI gag reel about three times this morning but that has worn off now, much like the pseudoephydrine *goes to top up mug of Lemsip*

So if anyone has anything that might cheer me up - macros, fluff fic [NOT Torchwood; Torchwood and I have fallen out], videos, pictures of puppies or kittens or pygmy hedgehogs, feel free to send 'em my way.

Help me, F-list Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope...

That's actually one of the evilest looks i've ever seen on a cat. How it made it to the final edit I will never know. I mean that kitten looks like it really does want to eat your soul.

I am feeling better, thanks. Residual sore throat and sneezes, but another Lemsip should take care of that. An entire night doing naught but watching new Heroes and Dexter seems to have done me the world of good.

Also, as I was leaving this morning, our lovely, smiley local UPS delivery guy let me out of the alley onto the main road. He stopped behind me at the traffic lights at the front of our house and I opened the window & hollered whether it was something for No. 8. He handed me the package through the window with a broad grin and beat his retreat before the lights changed. Srsly, I don't think I've ever seen anyone so happy in their job. It makes me want to drive a delivery truck for UPS!
