Title: Compromise
Pairing: Kirk/Spock
Fandom: Star Trek [I have the new film in mind, but I don't really think it matters]
Words: 100
Summary: Kirk likes to take risks
Writer's notes: This came about from a prompt by [livejournal.com profile] betweenthebliss, who suggested Kirk/Spock; Compromise. It's my first foray into Trek as a writer, so I hope it comes off okay. Comments and concrit would be very welcome indeed.

Logically speaking, Spock realized he should not be surprised. The Captain had behaved in ways Spock considered reckless since their paths first crossed at the Academy. Spock had observed many times Kirk's physiology and behavior when placing himself in risky situations. It should come as no surprise this attitude should permeate all areas of his life.

Spock regarded the tableau before him as the Turbolift opened: Kirk's uniform pants pulled past his hips; hand frozen mid-stroke; lips parted, panting. But Spock was unsure whether it was more compromising for the Captain or for himself, given his own apparent physiological response.
