With 3, I don't watch my grammar so much on msn because it's just about fast chatting, but with fanfic, when the writer has had a chance to go back and edit stuff, grammar mistakes make me go nuts. My top 5 are "could of" instead of "could've", "could care less" instead of "couldn't care less", the misuse of "literally", "your" instead of "you're" and my all time pet peeve, something like "dress's" instead of "dresses" (for the noun). ARGH. In fanfic, I find it's a complete boner-kill.
And with 4, I'm with you completely. I wasn't raised that way and I can't bring myself to do it...it feels so fake and stiff to give a false compliment.
Yeah I'm the same way with 6. I don't like female comedians cause I find way too many of them talk about their vaginas lol I make that observation every time Melbourne Comedy Festival is shown on TV, seriously. It's crass and gets really old...
