Aimed at those non-British folks amongst my f-listers, and particularly those who are somewhere near as obsessed as I am with Simon Pegg.

Simon, as I'm sure you are aware, recently starred in the movie adaptation of Toby Young's book "How To Lose Friends and Alienate People". True to his usual form with the movies over which he has any control of content, Simon collaborated with the director Bob Weide and together they pulled out all the stops to make sure that when it was released on DVD that fans would have lots of extras to make it worth their hard-earned bucks. However whilst the British [Region 2] DVD has all the extras that Simon and Bob worked so hard to put together, the American distributors decided not to include them whilst still charging the same price. Simon and Bob have expressed their disappointment to Heather at peggster.net who has posted it on their MySpace page for all to see.

Simon and Bob are asking Region 1 fans not to buy the DVD, and to instead either get it from amazon.co.uk, or if they don't have a multi-region DVD player, just to hire it and watch it if they want to see it again.

Here endeth the lesson. Normal service will be resumed shortly.
