I'm mostly keeping my head down and my face out of this fandom to save myself from the huge amounts of crazy contained therein right now, but I promised
51stcenturyfox that once she decided the time was right to promote this, I would lend it my support as well as my voice.
She asked me to put my voice to hers and
neifile7's fantastic fic Fearnought, and I did so last week before all the craziness over CoE kicked off. It's Gwen-centric and focuses on her relationship with THE COAT, is quite filthy and different than anything else I've read in the fandom.
If you want to hear it, you can click here and download it as an MP3. It's about 13 minutes long and might entertain you for as long as it takes to do something otherwise uninteresting but requiring both your eyes and your hands be free.

Date: 2009-07-13 10:47 pm (UTC)Can't thank you enough for doing this. I really wasn't sure how the intercutting of memory and action would play out off the page, but oh my god, did you ever make it cook. All praise for your pacing and the pitch of delivery, and I had serious eargasms over the Welsh inflections. I guess when you hear something like this, you ask, "Did I actually write that? Holy shit!"
(BTW, love your comment tagline, although it's Sallie Tisdale's book, not the Poison song, that does it for me.)

Can I ask an idiot question? What's my comment tagline? I even had to go Google the author you mentioned because I didn't recognise her and I'm still none the wiser :/
