Tyler Shields: rapidly becoming my new hero

I was vaguely aware of Tyler Shields following the shots and the video portrait he did of Zachary Quinto. I didn't really look any more at his work, though. I assumed that I liked those because I like ZQ and that was that. I'm not even sure what made me go and look further at his photography, but I am utterly captivated by his use of light and shadow, of his composition and subject matter. He has a really dark, sensual, twisted imagination and I love it.

I woke up this morning to find my Twitter feed covered with links to this video. I hadn't had the chance to look at it yet when I happened across it on smutjunkie's journal as I browsed my f-list. I've watched it four times now and see something different in it every time.

Just. Stunning.

p.s. After four times of watching, even the Cilla Black song started to sound sexy again instead of making me think of teenage Saturday evenings watching Surprise, Surprise and Blind Date...
