Aw! Millenium Centre! I was there on Saturday night!
I love John Simm more and more the more I watch him. And he's such a principled bastard in terms of his choices of work. He's been offered roles that some people might call "sell-out" parts in the past and turned them down even though they would net him more money because he isn't in it for the big bucks. Other people have said of him in interviews that he has been on his uppers and even his missus has told him that he must follow his heart with the parts he takes and not just treat it as a job. I admire that so much.
Well that, and the fact that even when he's trying to be ugly he just smoulders pure unadulterated sex *points at icon*
As far as Doctor Who fic goes, I haven't really read a lot of Nine fic. I suppose that's cos I didn't really enjoy him that much on the screen. Maybe I should broaden my horizons a bit...
