Author's notes: An unbeta'd drabble of the most embarrassing variety. This is pure crack!fic. In response to karaokegal 's comment in my Christmas LoM fic about OT3, this perspective on Gene and Sam comes from... the filing cabinet. I'm so, so sorry. *facepalm*

Standing stoically against the wall afforded a clear view of the unfolding scene, and it was clearly only a matter of time. The ritual was always the same: though the catalyst might change the actions never varied. Heated words from Gene met by a measured response from Sam. Self control expressed through clenched fists and pursed lips lasting mere seconds before lapels were seized and the weight of two bodies met with passive resistance from the metallic surface.

The filing cabinet shuddered, a thrill of vibrations reverberating through the frame. The time had come. And not a moment too soon.
