Go to your Calendar and find the first entry for each month of 2009 (not including memes of course). Post the first line/sentence of it in your journal, and that's your "Year in Review"
A proper year in review will follow at the actual end of the year, but for now, this is my review in brief:
January: I'm almost certain that this will please no-one but me, but the lovely
licklepickle sent me this and I'm posting it here so I can just come and drool at regular intervals
Which led to this picture
February: I never do this. Ever. My posts are normally so organised and, well, pointy. But this is totally pointless and girlie in an "OFMGifIdon'tgetthissqueeoutofmysystemI'mgonnaEXPLODE!" way.
This was about Being Human and may be duplicated again in January when it starts its second series.
March: I'm hoping this meme, ganked from
51stcenturyfox, will kick my arse and help me to finish some of the growing pile of WIP that currently haunts my hard-drive.
April: Right, second batch of drabbles from the recent prompt request I put out. This time they are all RPF.
From back in the days when I actually wrote stuff *sigh*
May: Choose a single artist, go through their song titles and answer the questions with appropriate songs
Aaah, another meme. For the record, I chose Electric Six.
June: Ganked from
51stcenturyfox, because there's not been enough of fandom in my journal of late.
Damn, I ship a lot of RPF couples. I should go revisit that thing. I think I have a few more since then...
July: I've been struck with gloom, so I've not been able to find the energy to put down anything about Glastonbury, even who we got to see whilst we were there. But I have to at least do a ten word review of each act so I don't forget what music we saw if nothing else.
I love ten-word summaries. It really makes me focus on getting to the heart of what I really think
August: What the fuck am I doing? I came online for ten minutes to check my mail and respond to comments and an hour and a half later, I'm still here.
Me + Internets = inseparable, apparently
September: I've tried to write words for the past two days. Words fail me dismally. So instead I bring a picture.
The picture was this one. Damn, I love that man.
October: This one was the first thing running through my head this morning.
I went through a phase of waking up with music in my head. That particular one was "California Dreamin'" by Mamas and the Papas.
November: I am trying really hard not to watch all the leaked DVD featurettes of the Star Trek movie before the DVD comes out in two weeks time. Really, I am. But I'm failing so badly.
What can I say? Nu!Trek owns my soul.
December: Dear Santa...
Well, when you're writers blocked, what better way to start up again than doing a few memes, huh?
